Tripp

epitomizes the versatility of the Poodle breed.  He is well balanced in mind and body - as they say, "everything in moderation."  Flashy in the show ring (as well as out!) he is not overdone, physically.  An outgoing boy, generally friendly in public, he is a great guard dog at home, with a serious bark (and the attitude to back it up if needed).  He is highly intelligent and sensitive, a bit independent but a quick learner and very willing working partner (as you can see by all his accomplishments).  His energy level is perfectly Poodle; able to put in a full day of activities, while equally content to be a couch potato.  Indeed, most of his time is spent as the latter (esp. if he gets to steal someone's seat. ;-)  Meanwhile, in the performance rings he shows exceptional drive.  Even as a "veteran' he is still going strong, if a bit slower at times.

Tripp is spoiled rotten and enjoys his overflowing box of toys.  Even more so, he enjoys spilling the contents of said box all over the living room floor.  hahaha  That's ok, he cleans them up too!  Outside, he loves his frisbees - and balls, of course!  And sticks... Well, he is still a country boy after all.  Although I constantly call him a twerp (or worse, LOL), he really is such a great dog.  While some Poodles' curiosity leads them to trouble, Tripp is always well behaved in the house, never stealing or destroying stuff (even the paper products he so obsessively adores, which are always within reach, but he never touches any without permission).  Granted, he is well trained, but it was not a big struggle to get there - he's always just been a good boy!  Not much phases him - he will sleep through thunder storms that wake me up... however, drop an ice cube or empty tissue box on the other side of the house and he will come running!  In true Poodle fashion, Tripp is always entertaining and good for a laugh.  :-)
